Tropical Smoothies

It's time for tropical smoothies again.  Money ($2.50) and order forms are due this Tuesday and smoothies will be delivered on Thursday. 

Cookie Dough Fundraiser

We are happy to report that the cookie dough fundraiser was a huge success.  Thanks for your help in selling so many!  The cookie dough delivery will be next Thursday, October 28th.  We are in need of a few volunteers to help with the delivery.  Below is a list of times that we need volunteers.  Please leave us a comment if you are able help out.

2 dads from 11am - 12:30pm

4 volunteers from 1:30-2:00

4 volunteers from 2:00-3:30

4 volunteers from 3:30-5

2 volunteers from 5-6

It's Tropical Smoothie Time!

Tropical Smoothies are due to be delivered this Friday, September 24th.  Money is due Wednesday, September 22nd.  Please send $2.50 in correct change (we will not give change) along with a yellow order form for each student.  If you have questions feel free to leave a comment or email us at hermosavistapto@gmail.com.

PTO Meeting

We've had a slight change in our PTO Meeting schedule.  This month we will be meeting on September 9th at 3:15 in the Media Center.  We could really use your input and invite all parents to join us.  See you then!

Pool Party Thanks

Thank you for joining us at the Pool Party.  It was a great success and fun was had by all.  We'd especially like to thank our volunteers for that night: Michele Foti and Laurie Grief.  We couldn't do what we do without parent support so thank you for your help!

Pool Party

Bring your family next week to the PTO-sponsored Hermosa Vista Pool Party at Stapley Junior High located at 3250 E. Hermosa Vista Dr.  The party will be Thursday, August 19th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.  Tickets may be purchased at the door for $3.00 per person or $12.00 per family.  Come enjoy the evening with your family and fellow Skyhawks.  You may even see a teacher or two!  See you there!

Meet the Teacher

Meet the Teacher night will be this coming Monday, August 9th from 4:00-6:00 pm.  This is a great opportunity for you and your child to become familiar with the teacher and classroom.  The PTO will be there with our new Skyhawk T-shirts and water bottles for sale.  The T-shirts are $10 and the water bottles are $6 or you can purchase both for $15.  We will also have sign-up sheets where you can volunteer to help throughout the year as well as sign up for the PTO email.  We will also have some new after school clubs at Hermosa Vista this year.  You can get more information about these and sign up that night in the cafeteria.  See you then!

How Can I Help?

Interested in volunteering with the PTO this year?  We have several opportunities for you to get involved.  We are in need of a few chair people for some of our events this year.  If you would be interested in chairing or helping on any of the following committees, please let us know by leaving a comment or emailing us at hermosavistapto@gmail.com.
